Citation CJ1 / CJ1+
Enhanced performance and payload over the original CJ
Overview
The Citation CJ1 (2000-2005, 198 produced) features a 200 lb gross weight improvement as well as an upgraded EFIS panel with a hybrid Pro Line 21 avionics suite featuring 2 or 3 large panel displays.
The CJ1+ (2006-2011, 102 produced) incorporates FADEC engines easing pilot workload with power settings, also increasing performance at altitude with roughly 65 lb of additional thrust. Cruise improves modestly over the original CJ, and gross weight gains another 100 lb.
Both variants maintain the proven CJ platform with 2 cockpit seats, 4 club seats, 1 side-facing seat, and optional belted lavatory. These aircraft deliver impressive capability in the light jet category with excellent economics and reliability.
